Just Wondering…

I was wondering, since it is the weekend, how should a believer relax? Does the Bible say we are to relax or does it say we are to rest in the Lord? What do you think the difference is? Should we relax by doing whatever we desire or should we rest in the way God desires? Should believers use recreational drugs to relax, go into places we do not  associate with holiness, or do things we know would bring disgrace to the name of the Lord to relax? When are Christians to go on vacation from the Lord? It is interesting, but try as I might I have not found that Christians retire either. I wonder why that is? It makes one wonder…

One response to “Just Wondering…

  1. Rest in the Jesus simply means

“believing all your sins has been forgiven. past present and future”
    and
“stop trying to do good works to be forgiven or atone for sins”

    – grace and peace
